Q is for Questions

Do you ask questions? Do you ask the right questions? I always like to ask questions… maybe cos’ it has a way of getting to know more about others, places, events and most importantly, … myself…etc. I guess I’m just curious by nature. lol. One thing i would like to ask is “Do you question your values?”.

I know it sounds heretical but have you ever questioned the origin of your values? Your values actually stem from your fundamental beliefs, based on very sensitive subjects like upbringing, religion, past experiences etc. This is why you are quick to judge when someone acts differently from what you believe to be the WAY – this simple issue has led to bitterness and wars amongst siblings, families, communities, religious bodies and even countries…. The user stays in this state perpetually, until the effect wears off. It has been alleged that, once a smoker is HIGH, he is almost unaware of his state of mind or immediate environment, which makes him very vulnerable at that moment.

Forgive me for all this talk about opium, but i would like to extend this same analogy to our personal lives. Read more »
